jamming with friends is meditative af cuz burger king can be banished to space with jeff bezos

Feeling tired as fuck, but I'm shameless about it despite it affecting my ability to read words like the perfect hostess you don't need. The world is still burning and the bourgeoisie is still thriving off of racism, classism, sexism, and all the phobia's, and I think Burger King is a disturbing example of that considering their employees literally get heatstroke in those kitchens, but that story was in the context of those employees hitting fuck it with a message on their marquee. And with lots of money, penis, and time, like.... a few decades, you might just be able to infiltrate a patriarchal mega cult like Mormonism for investigative journalistic purposes or to grind some cancerous gears to a halt. In other words, white well-off men, it's time to use your privilege for good.

It's f****d up we aren't taught about Frederick Douglass's perspective on the 4th of July

I mean, that's unsurprising if you consider how it's literally becoming illegal to teach Critical Race Theory. It is not my place to speak for BIPOC because I will never understand what it's like to be in their shoes, but I will use my privilege to the best of my ability to lift their voices on this podcast. Although I read an excerpt I got from the Washington Post excerpt of the speech "What to the Slave Is The Fourth of July" by Frederick Douglass, it is essential reading to actually read or listen to the full thing, so I have some links for you:

    Thanks for listening. :D

Baby boomers have no insides, employees deserve a monthly paid week off.

Baby boomers have no insides, employees deserve a monthly paid week off.

Well, it's almost the fourth of July, and despite it being called "Independence day" Britney Spears is still not free, there is still a working-class and BIPOC are getting the worst of it, and we're at the mercy of the white supremacist patriarchy and their wildfire causing festivities because despite firework bans, they're still being sold in my area.... my very dry area infested with confederate flag waving rednecks. And with this awareness, how are ya'll handling family reunions? Are they bigots? Are they cool? Or do you have two separate family reunions because the cool ones are understandably done with this shit, but still want to have a beer and a backyard bbq to bond with whoever's also just....done.

I can't even introduce this podcast right, BUT the world has it's first non-binary mayor! :D

I can't even introduce this podcast right, BUT the world has it's first non-binary mayor! :D

I feel like most podcast openers are super energetic, and while I'm far from energetic here, I guess the spiciness of this first episode is the rebelliousness of challenging that unrealistic standard? Or maybe I just don't know the next time I'm gonna be above a 3/10 energy-wise! But anyways, I just talk about the best and worst part of my week, actually had a pretty nice best part. And I read and talk a lil about The Guardian's instagram post about the world's first non-binary mayor! :D

    this trailer is too long

This description asked me what I want my listeners to know, so I want my listeners to know I'm sorry that I can't think of a better description and I'm bad at self leathery humor if that's what I'm attempting and being aware of it doesn't make it better? Okay, I'll stop.
