Brexit again
The pod has some good content and when they talk about football is great. However, some reason they feel the need to mention Brexit in every single pod. Brexit for all the guests and regular crew is a synonym for racism or any support at all for England or English players.
‘Brexit’ is the constant punchline in every episode used by one of the interchangeable guests. Whenever this word is mentioned it is met by pure agreement and laughter. This reflects the absolute echo chamber and lazy simplistic thinking which I would expect from the Gaurdian. But, for some silly reason I thought the Gaurdian’s left wing ideology wouldn’t spill into their football podcast and they would be able to stop branding people who think differently as racists but clearly this is beyond the podcasters.
