It’s time for a boners episode! For those unfamiliar, this is an episode where we talk about the stuff that has our geeky hearts excited. Maybe some of you will be excited as well! We sure hope so.

This week we are taking look at common superstitions. Where did they come from? Do we, as non believers still hold on to some of those superstitions or do we gleefully shout “Macbeth” in a theater every chance we get?

This week, we talk about Dune Part II! A sprawling, beautiful film about how great messiahs are and how much better they make everything and how religious leaders never ever use fundamentalism for personal gain! A perfect topic for an atheist podcast. We do spoil it so if you don’t know the story, maybe go watch the movie first.

This week, we are taking a look at the Fallout TV series, which is based on the popular video games of the same name. Ella Purnell stars as Lucy, who has left her Valut to explore a post apocalyptic wasteland. It’s a good show and we do spoil it some so don’t listen if you want to go into the show completely fresh!

This week, we are putting on our skeptic glasses and looking at some very commonly held beliefs that are completely wrong! How many spiders do we swallow in a year? The answer might surprise you. Unless you think about it for a few minutes. Then it seems pretty obvious.
