    Kassie S.

    Kassie S.

This is Kassie S. sharing her experience, strength, and hope.  Kassie has started a blog called Heroin to Heroine. Heroin to Heroine is a blog about the stories and trials of a young Heroin addict and found redemption through recovery. So check her out via FaceBook or her website.   kassiesullins.wixsite.com/herointoheroine

My name is Kassie and I am a Heroin addict. I have struggled and fought for my life against Heroin since I was 17 years old. I have lost everything I ever loved. I have slept in cars because I had nowhere else to stay. I have sold my body against my own will. I have died and been brought back by the grace of something Higher. I have lied, cheated, and stolen in order to feed my demons. I know what it feels like to no longer want to live anymore. And I also know what it feels like to claw myself out of that nightmare we call addiction.

Since December 31st of 2017, I have been living a life of recovery. Through it, I have accomplished things I never thought were possible. I am a Certified Peer Specialist and a Missouri Associate Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Today, I am blessed to live my passion every day. Grateful to know my purpose.

“We recover loudly so others don’t have to die in silence”
