Art & Identity Ep. 2: Dance
Student Spotlight:
Madison Lee is a Goizueta Business Scholar from Texas double majoring Dance and Business. She has danced with stars such as Kinjaz at the Dallas Cowboys Home Opener Halftime Show and Asia O’Hara on RuPaul Drag Race’s Electrique Christmas. Her hip hop team, The Officials, has also performed at numerous international competitions such as Hip Hop International and World of Dance Dallas. She is currently a member of Emory Dance Company. Listen to hear us discuss everything from hip hop culture to how dance has affected her personal journey with self acceptance.

A “pandemic silver lining,” a term coined by my chemistry professor in fond reference to our tiny 30-would-have-been-90-person chemistry class, is a beautiful and surprising triumph or love born from an otherwise tumultuous pandemic. Today we're joined by Madison Lee, a Korean-American woman who identifies as LGBTQ+, to discuss the nuances and struggles of being an Asian American who identifies as queer.
