    I would not recommend this path. That's for sure. There was a time I wasn't certain I'd be here to write this. Having a mental breakdown turned out to be a gift. Not during it, believe me. But it forced me to stop and rebuild. To let go of the things that were hurting me to find the things that were helping and do more of those.

    This is not some big grandiose story carefully curated for production. This is my story. It was just me and the mic in my closet and I told it what helped get me better. 

    I hope it helps some of you, too. When I was at my lowest it was others who'd told their stories that were my literal lifeline. Here is part of mine.

    It feels so far from where we are that I keep catching myself thinking it could only be a pipe dream.
