    S2:E6 Talks on Sobriety.

Here I bring to you, the final episode of Season 2 on Too Much Racket!

It's been a long wait and I can only thank each and every one of you for sticking with me throughout this series and showing support and love at all turns. I cover a short monologue on how this year has been tough for everyone but how it has particularly effected my energy levels partnered with my productivity. This is something I don't wish to hide because I always want to be honest with listeners about how real life events and our environments effect us in a multitude of ways.

Aside from this I want to talk about today's topic and how important it is to myself and Georgia (my lovely guest) that we were able to share this discussion with you all. Alcohol, the party lifestyle and "binge drinking" culture is something that is overlooked in society and I think it's something that always has been. In no way are we trying to dis-encourage people enjoying alcohol because in moderation, all good things in life are bloody fantastic. In this episode our aim is to open listeners minds to the possibility of being sucked into a fashion or a trend in which they feel they cannot socialise without.

I hope this episode educates you and empowers you to question your relationship with alcohol but that it also helps you to measure other things in your life that may need moderating.

I wish you a happy and healthy new year and that we can resume this beautiful podcasting relationship soon.

S2:E5 The 1975 Debut Album Review

S2:E5 The 1975 Debut Album Review

    Good Afternoon you lovely lot!

First and foremost, the least I can do is apologise for the huuuuuuuge delay I've had, on releasing this wonderful episode into the world.

This is also the most anticipated episode of all time on Too Much Racket! Myself and Zak were supposed to do this episode for Series 1 but one thing led to another and we unfortunately had to cancel! On that note, I am chuffed to bits to finally be sharing the geeky and nerdier side of myself as deep down I am a Music Fanatic (in particular with The 1975.) And this worked well as, so is my good friend Zak Brookes, who joins me today on Episode 5.

*Zak may sound familiar as he did feature in Series 1 also!*

Today we dive head first into The 1975's first ever album and we discuss the musical journey we both took with this album, with conversations like what memories it takes us back to, how certain songs make us feel, how The 1975 have evolved but kept certain patterns in their music and many more weird and wonderful things!

I sincerely hope you enjoy listening to today's special and "niche" episode as much as we did recording it.

    S2:E4 Becoming A Youtuber & Content Creator

    S2:E4 Becoming A Youtuber & Content Creator

    Hello Wonderful People!

I hope you're all doing really well and keeping yourselves safe and happy! It's so great to be back into the swing of recording, editing and releasing Podcast episodes as we're already 4 Episodes into Series 2! This series has been a little more relaxed with release schedules and timelines but I think it's good to have a season where I can do things at my own pace & in my own time!

ANYWAY...This week we have the first RETURNED Guest on Too Much Racket which is the gorgeous Jodie May and this week we are talking about her journey on becoming a Youtuber first and foremost but also a content creator. Jodie has been doing YouTube for over a year now and she has found great success on her Channel with videos like get ready with me, clothing hauls, vlogs, holiday vlogs and plenty more!

I myself am a regular consumer of Jodie's Channel and so it was really interesting for me to interview her on the honest journey that has taken place behind the scenes. We talk about the inspiration for starting YouTube, the hurdles she's faced, the internal acceptance that comes into content creation and plenty more!

Jodie is always a pleasure to have on the Podcast and I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as we did recording!

    Without further or do...ENJOY!

S2:E3 What on earth is "The Ick?"

S2:E3 What on earth is "The Ick?"

    Hello beautiful human beings,

I hope you're all doing wonderfully and enjoying the incredible pleasure of living in a restriction-less England! I know I sure am!

Today's episode is a really interesting and funny one. It's another one based on dating in the 21st century and we delve into what "The Ick" is! The Ick seems to have a different meaning for everyone as it goes but we share stories on our dating history, present and ideals for the future. We explore the toxicity and unfairness of "The Ick" on men in 2021 and how social media has birthed the norm of slating people for very simple things. We also talk about how the Millennial generation was one that has never known anything but an online dating world...

Charlie is a fantastically open and interesting guest as she has the ability to be brutally honest about her perspective as well as the dating path she has walked. This episode is for anyone and everyone who is / has been dating and had "The Ick" or for those of you have no idea what "The Ick" is! The modern day dating scene can be scary for everyone and anyone so we're all in it together.

The main message in this is to know your self worth, have fun but be kind and have a think about what your "Ick" could be...

S2:E2 Body Modification & How Society Moulds Your Identity

S2:E2 Body Modification & How Society Moulds Your Identity

After an emotional week here in England it is my pleasure to bring you one of the most upbeat, entertaining and opinionated guests we have had on Too Much Racket so far.

This week I welcome the wonderful Chris Sharratt to talk with me about his journey with body modification and his view on the industry, how its influenced him and the future for younger generations. We go on many tangents (as myself and all of my guests do) including things such as:

    Finding your identity in adolescence.
What influences you as a teen.
Seeing your identity change and grow as you move into your 20s.
How influencer culture is effecting people's confidence and self esteem.

I hope you enjoy this weeks episode and the variety of topics covered!

Chris was an absolute pleasure to record with and I look forward to getting him and his colourful opinions back on the podcast for Series 3.

S2:E1 All things DEPOP with Funk It By Charles

S2:E1 All things DEPOP with Funk It By Charles

It's our first week back on Series 2 and we are feeling funky fresh and ready for some new content.

We are kickstarting the series with the most wonderful and gorgeous guest Miss Charlie Fellows from Funk It By Charles and she has so much positivity and life advice for all of you listeners, I cannot even tell you.

We had the best time recording this episode and we covered a lot of ground on DEPOP and the amazing business that Charlie has constructed, birthed, evolved and had great amounts of success with.

    BUTTT,

Along with this we managed to go on a few tangents with things like going to university and making life decisions at such a young age, following your passions with work, whether it be to start a business in sustainable fashion or being a manager in retail - to many other things.

I really want to leave the rest to your imagination for now but we sincerely hope you enjoy today's listen and we look forward to what the next 8 episodes will bring...
