Growing Gratitude
The Season 4 Finale: Everyday, Becca writes in a daily gratitude journal, one of the practices she's adopted to promote positive mental health habits, & this episode is breaking down some of what & who she's most thankful for these days. Opening up weekly & sharing personal experiences is not always easy. Not everyone who listens to every episode will relate to every topic, it's merely a way to relate to, connect & comfort others who have experienced the same or similar situations.

Screaming Insecurities & Shit-filled Sunsets
We told you this season would be raw & unfiltered, Becca recounts past encounters, lessons of self-awareness of her own that so many of us have experienced when fighting our insecurities. Sometimes we need the blunt, hard truth to be shoved right in our faces. Sometimes we need to swallow the pill of the ugly truths. Extreme emotions can blur our view. Self-awareness put simply is defined by the Oxford dictionary as conscious knowledge of one's own character, feelings, motives, and desires. For example: "the process can be painful but it leads to greater self-awareness".

A potato in a box
Today Becca talks about a standard that's been found to be so unprogressive for us as a stigma-society. Why are we not celebrating friends or families non-traditional milestones properly? And why is someone's life considered to be any less stressful just because they don’t have a husband or children? A hard reminder to get to know your people and how to best celebrate them.

Rinse, Reuse, & Recycle
On today's episode, Becca talks about her experiences with dating apps and how they have become taxing on her mental health (can we get an amen?). The woes of dating as a millennial in New York City can be nothing short of terrifying, but how else can we meet someone in this climate? Is repeating this process insanity? Are we settling out of desperation and the craving for personal connection? How do we allow the bad situations from our pasts to stay just there? Come unpack it all! Personal power, social comparison, & sad meatballs
We're answering more questions from listeners! Addressing personal power, social comparison theory, being emotionally aware, communication and combatting the inevitable social pressures. Past experiences are brought to the surface in regards to previous employers, previous romantic engagements, and previous friendships. Becca goes on a tiny rant, but what's better? Passive aggressive behavior need not apply.
