Norval Morrisseau is an Indigenous artist from Ontario, he was a residential school survivor as well as a recovered alcoholic. Norval found his strength, connection, culture, and pride in his art. This episode goes into the horrible incident where people stripped Morrisseau of his identity just like residential school did. After finding his connection back to his culture through his art, many fraud paintings of his were made and sold.
