Our Outside EP02: Academics and R3 with Breanna Bashford of Georgia Wildlife Federation

We thank our partners: Eukanuba Sporting Dog, Pheasants Forever/ Quail Forever, S.Kent Rockwell Foundation, Theodore Roosevelt Conservation partnership, The Sporting Life Notebook

In this episode, Breanna Bashford, Ashley, and Durrell discuss a number of key questions that we think may give our growing audience context and clarity on what it means to Bring the Unlikely to the Active Outdoors, while simultaneously defining what the active, sporting outdoors means for the greater community of Georgia’s residents. Throughout the episode, we hope to give you a glimpse into our future plans and partnership initiatives with the Georgia Wildlife Federation to continue creating conversations that will lead to more diversity, equity, and inclusion in the active outdoors, and encourage more communities of color to participate in the conversation of land and water conservation.

On the next Episode of OUR OUTSIDE, we will continue to dive into the conservation conversations in communities of color. For supporting material from our discussion, take a look through our show notes for links and references. We will release episodes of OUR OUTSIDE bi-weekly, with guests sharing their vast knowledge and experiences advocating for diversity in our active outdoor communities, so please subscribe to our podcast, and visit us at minorityoutdooralliance.org. And while you’re there, donate to the Alliance and our initiatives. We again, want to thank you for tuning in, and helping us continue Bringing the Unlikely to the Active, Sporting Outdoors.
