In this session, we explore a special event when God chose to slow the biblical narrative down at Joshua's crossing of the Jordan and gathering twelve stones as memorials to commemorate the event for future generations as a model for us to remember this weekend all those who have gone before us to bring us into the promises we're entering today.

In evaluating how David honored, we too can learn to honor others as God would have us in this day as we honor our own over Memorial Day Weekend.

In this session in Part 2, we continue our exploration of Paul's use of the phrase "[he] gives gifts" in Eph 4:8 tying it to Pentecost and the giving of the Holy Spirit for Pentecost Sunday. Paul references Psalm 68:18 where God "receives gifts." This 2 part series will explore what Paul is doing utilizing Daniel 7 as a possible connection to understand what is happening.
