Ammielleana ,

For such a time as this..

Dr Lerato and her team have given us a vocabulary to call out and address issues that we didn’t even know we were dealing with daily. Every episode feels like I am there with the ladies around a table, having a very necessary debrief about our everyday struggles in South Africa as HCW. It’s definitely bringing healing… We’re not 100% there yet, but we’re not where we used to be! Thank you for being a light in our darkness! Keep going - we appreciate the conversations, the wisdom, the insight! THANK YOU.

The power of naming emotions!

Thank you for introducing this concept of ‘languishing’ to me Lerato and co! This is resonants so much with me. Since the pandemic began, it feels like many people are just in limbo. Trying to survive. Which was fine for the first few months. But now that this is ‘normal’ we have to learn that health and wellbeing is not just the absence of disease - it’s about thriving! But here we are in languished state thinking that we’re okay cos we’re not DSM-V classifiable.

Loved it! Great food for thought.

Normally I don’t care Episode

What a timely episode. You ladies are doing such great work. I’ve been feeling this way for a long time and kept thinking I was just tired or stressed, but now I know! I can give this feeling the respect of language and start working towards healing.

Thank you. Thank you.
