Boy Bands Never Die

(Honors 391AH Final) "Boy Bands Never Die" explores the history of boy bands and the boy band industry and looks at how the industry has evolved over time starting from the 1960s and on to today's era of boy bands. I discuss the rise to fame of bands like The Jackson 5, New Edition, and Backstreet Boys among many others and how they have contributed to both the music industry as a whole and helped shape what the boy band industry looks like today. After looking at the history, I go into a discussion about two current boy bands and why, based on what we now know about boy band history, I feel one has been significantly more successful than the other. From there, I talk more about why the boy band industry never dies, hence the name of this podcast. I had a lot of fun putting this podcast together and I really do hope you enjoy listening!
