    What Children & Mystics Know

In Part 3 of the series, John, Alex, and Allen reveal how Jesus wants to rescue us from the barriers to fully experiencing God and his kingdom. Returning to the life we were created for isn't a complicated process. But it does require us to exchange our cynicism, skepticism, and pragmatism for the simple trust of a child.

    Weary, Skeptical Pragmatists

    Weary, Skeptical Pragmatists

As the series continues, John, Alex, and Allen look at how our culture clings to the belief that practical information is the way to salvation. Yet as this information on the Internet is continually contradicted and undermined, we grow more fragile, vulnerable, and cynical. It has made weary skeptics of us all. Even in the area of faith, we try to make God and his kingdom 'practical' by stripping it of all wonder, mystery, and power. Thankfully, there is a way out of the madness.

    Disciples of the Internet

    Disciples of the Internet

John, Alex, and Allen begin this new series with a disruptive observation: We are all disciples of the Internet and it has shaped us profoundly. For one thing, the Internet has discipled our souls to anticipate, even demand, immediate answers. So when we ask God a question and are not answered in the way the Internet does, we feel he isn't listening. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. The effects go far, far deeper.

Our Two Most Important Podcasts - Q1 Recap

Our Two Most Important Podcasts - Q1 Recap

John and Allen conclude the First Quarter recap by focusing on what we believe will be our two most important podcasts this year. Together, they provide orientation to this moment in time. What does it mean to pursue the "All-In" Life—and why is that the only safe place in the world? John expands on a Narnia phrase to reveal that there's actually a second wardrobe door we must go through to experience the full Kingdom life. From there, John passionately shares why union with God must be at the epicenter of everything we are and do. The highlight segments are from our February 26, 2024, podcast (The "All-In" Life) and the March 4, 2024, episode (Don't Miss the Main Thing).

Engaging in Spiritual Warfare & Exposing the Artificial—Q1 Recap

We're twelve podcasts into the year. How many of those conversations are still top of mind? Probably not many—and that's not your fault. This world constantly overloads us with never-ending information and content that causes us to forget what matters most.
This two-part series counters that, with John and Allen offering a highlight reel of the main moments from the first quarter. Part 1 focuses on tools for spiritual warfare and ways to defy the artificial.

    God Is Our Refuge

    God Is Our Refuge

We all need shelter, love, and safety, yet many go through life never having these universal longings met. John and Allen look at how Psalm 91 reveals that God alone is our refuge, rescuer, and protector—and what life can be when we embrace these powerful promises.

Christine @ RobinPlants ,

Union with God rescues me from despair

Pandemic madness

I found myself acting out in anger on 2 occasions last week. This is something I’ve been working on for decades. I couldn’t understand where this suddenly came from.

Thank you John & Wild at Heart team for hearing from Jesus what we, as Jesus followers and your community, needed to hear from Him right now.

Right now being after 5 months of pandemic madness.

Isolation, fear tactics, masks, our emotions on a roller coaster.

A gun pointed at your forehead every time you go into a shop to measure your temperature.

Enforced mask wear making it difficult to breathe. Not to mention that it’s brutally difficult to trust any masked person.

Even though I go shopping super early when there are very little people in the shop, I come home exhausted.

Add your own difficulty here. Then listen to what Jesus is saying about and over you.

This is my prayer for you reading this:

Peace be with you.

Jesus, I pray for union with you God.

Heal my body, my heart and my emotions Lord.

Let Your River of Life flow through me.

Amen

People loving God but also slipping into the new age

Very very sad to listen to the latest 3 part podcast on contemplating prayer. No discernment of spirits or any kundalini awareness. Dangerous grounds......... can not safely recommend Ransomed heart to friends anymore 😥

The Ransomed Heart Podcast has been part of my morning commute for a couple of weeks. Love the calm and controlled way in which the teachings are presented. Definately worth a try.
