Mind shift!!

Mind shifted!!! Such an emotional roller coaster turning thirty this year, I discovered Dr Caroline Leaf on YouTube just a few weeks before my 30th birthday.

I was adamant that I needed to resolve the past. My twenties were over run with toxic situations and passive aggressive reactions to these situations or cowardice and flight.

I’ve spent this entire year re-working my mental makeup, my thoughts, my decisions, my reactions have all improved from actively working against toxic thoughts. I now listen to the podcast religiously.

I’ve rid myself of my victim mentality and have taken full control of my role in the toxic situations of my past.

I look forward to the future.

I can be happy and I can be real, I can breath and be free to feel what I’m feeling and I accept that I will have bad thoughts, they don’t vanish! - But I don’t allow depressive thoughts or hurtful situations to rule my life!

I am using the exercises to prevent myself from reacting emotionally to each situation.

Someone else’s hurt is their hurt.

I can not control them I can only control my reactions to them.

Am so proud that God gifted South Africa with such a smart and inspiring woman like Dr Caroline Leaf

Lots of hugs

Thank you

Thank you for your podcast. I’m from a little town in the Free State where I was still taught to just keep a straight face and soldier on. I’m only 34 and it seems like I’ve seen more than I’d care to. My husband of 14 years is severely depressed, but it only came out in the last 3 years and I had no way to deal with this monster that nearly destroyed him, our marriage and myself. Did I mention I was caught off guard because we’re both Spirit-filled believers?

We’re taking 5 (yes only 5) minutes a day to read Switch your brain on every day and it has already changed out lives. And we’re only on day 12.

I just want to say thank you so much, it breaks you when you believe in God and you don’t see the progress no matter what you do. You tend to loose faith which makes you feel even more hopeless, because who can face a life without Him.

May His favour and His face shine on you every step of the way.

Ps, please consider teachings on addiction.
