Welcome to The Daily Still Podcast - A Place to Pause. Here we create space to listen for the whispers of God. Each episode features a short devotional-style, guided meditation, offering room to “be still” in the midst of the busyness of life. We position ourselves to hear God’s Voice, allowing Him to bring alignment and peace to our whole being. Host Cindy Helton is a spiritual guide and coach for stillness gatherings and retreats. She has practiced and led guided Christian meditation for over a decade. Her passion is ushering people into the Presence of God.
Uniting Prayer (Racial Reconciliation & Unity Series)
This is the final meditation from our special Racial Reconciliation and Unity series.
Host Cindy Helton leads us in a unifying prayer based on Psalm 139 from the The Passion Translation, along with the prayers of Joshua Jamerson, LaToya NaShae, Vernon Shaw, and Sarah Patton.
A special thank you to these Nashville area brothers and sisters in Christ who contributed to this series. It’s an honor to include their powerful contemplations and prayers on our podcast.
The call to Racial Reconciliation and Unity comes from our Creator, our Heavenly Father, who made all mankind in His image and for His glory. (I Cor 10:31)
The LORD God has told us what is right and what he demands: "See that justice is done, let mercy be your first concern, and humbly obey your God." (Micah 6:8 CEV)
May our eyes continue to be open to injustice, and our hearts burdened for reconciliation and unity in Christ, not just in the big moments, but in the every day moments of life that define our character.
May racial unity and reconciliation be a place where we live and grow in love and understanding, going to the hard places, and reflecting upon our own responsibility to love our neighbors well.

Come and See About Me - Guest Meditation by Joshua Jamerson (Racial Reconciliation & Unity Series)
"Jesus The Jew and The Samaritan Woman - Come and See About Me"
Welcome to Day 4 of our guest edition series on Racial Reconciliation and Unity. Today our special guest meditation is from Pastor Joshua Jamerson of Antioch, TN. Joshua is Pastor at Crossland Church and a story teller. You will be drawn in as he shares the inspiring story from The Bible in John 4 where Jesus talks with a Samaritan woman at the well. This story is so relevant for us today. And Joshua's question prompts and prayer are extremely powerful!
Pastor Joshua Jamerson, a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, grew up in Buffalo, New York. He has over 20 years of experience directing worship, pastoring youth, serving as a church elder, and working in various music ministries. Having a heart for worship and music, Joshua has traveled across the world singing background vocals for many Gospel and Christian music artists. He has earned a degree in Business Management.
In 2017, after years of ignoring the call to pastor, Joshua said yes to God and the heart for Crossland Church was birthed. The Jamersons have spent two and a half years at The Experience Community Church in Murfreesboro, Tennessee preparing to launch Crossland Church. Crossland's mission is “to meet people where they are and to experience God together.”
