    After the Verdict: The Client

    After the Verdict: The Client

SUBSCRIBER EXCLUSIVE: At the end of September 2014, a top-selling realtor in Little Rock, Arkansas, went to show a house. Beverly Carter told her husband she’d pick up dinner on her way home. But by 9 p.m., with no sign of Beverly, her husband started to worry. Five days later, Carl Carter got the news that his wife had been found dead. Beverly’s killer's were sent to prison for kidnapping and murder. In the years since, the Carters’ son, Carl Jr., created a foundation to help real estate agents stay safe. In this episode, Carl Jr. tells Andrea Canning what it’s been like dealing with the legal system for nearly a decade, and why he still advises realtors to look out for each other.

Talking Dateline: Evil Walked Through the Door

Andrea Canning interviews Josh Mankiewicz about his newest episode, “Evil Walked Through the Door.” The 1983 murders of Toronto women Erin Gilmour and Susan Tice four months apart left police stumped for nearly four decades. Josh and Andrea discuss the different ways of handling grief highlighted in the episode, and Josh plays a podcast-exclusive clip from his interview with Erin Gilmour’s brother. Talking Dateline: Justice for Joy

Andrea Canning talks to Blayne Alexander about her most recent episode, “Justice for Joy.” In 1991, Joy Hibbs was stabbed, strangled, and her Pennsylvania home was set on fire to cover up the brutal crime. The investigation went cold until a detective with the Bristol Township Police Department picked up the case file decades later and uncovered a connection between the department and a man who’d been interviewed at the time of Joy’s murder. Blayne tells Andrea about the Hibbs family’s desperate search for answers and plays a podcast-exclusive clip from her interview with the woman who finally unlocked the mystery. Blayne and Andrea also discuss how motherhood has affected their approach to interviews. Blayne and Dateline producer Justin Balding answer viewer and listener questions about the episode.

Brilliantly narrated

Been through all Nicole Engelbrecht’s True Crime Podcosts and now om on Dateline. So many other Podcasters have chats about murder and mayhem. Some even make light of hideous crimes.. I can’t listen to that.

Then they try push their values (eg freedom of speech and gender choose, racism) etc down your throat. This has nothing to do with true crime. Keep you opinions of life to yourself and keep us in the loop of murder and crime.

I would like to commend you for the brilliant show. I do catering, baking, cooking and spend Must of my time in the kitchen with my hands busy. So all I can do is listen. And I’m thoroughly enjoying dateline! Thank you. The Radio stations in SA are just plain irritating..

Your show is full of truth, compassion, real life, justice, hard facts and everything that goes with good listening stuff.

I’m hooked.
Keep it up.

Always a good podcast

Every episode is well researched and unfolds in an intriguing way to draw you into the story. Keith Morrison has the perfect voice and tone to deliver an excellent performance every time, teasing the script out until a satisfying ending. One of my favourite crime podcasts.
The only negative is there are sometimes repeats.

So good!

I love Keith Morrison and anything that enables me to listen to more of his smooth, sarcastic tones makes me happy! I enjoy the delivery of each episode and the obvious hard work and research that has gone into each episode. I love this podcast!
