De-risk your startup using a Venture Studio

How would you build it?

With the decrease in investor sentiment globally, fewer startups are getting the funding they require to build and scale to the point where they can become profitable. Where this trend is growing globally, it has always been the case in South Africa and Africa. In the face of this, we have seen the rise of Venture Studios being started to help create an accommodating environment to help early startups de-risk their strategy by supporting the founders in validating their ideas and concepts before spending unnecessarily on building tech. In the episode, we spoke to Tramayne Moraghan from Next176 about the role his Venture Studio plays in the ecosystem while facilitating and testing corporate-backed ventures. We chatted about the state of funding, the trends to follow in the current climate and how founders can build with an exit strategy. 00:00 Tramayne from Next176
