It’s simple but profound. My thoughts on Matthew 9:9 “As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him.”

This talk challenges the world's message that we choose our own purpose and that everything revolves around us. Rather we were made to live for someone much greater - Jesus. (Note: the video I play shows a continuous zooming out starting from earth to all the different galaxies etc. around us) This is the second talk I gave at a youth camp in 2017.

This is my first ever talk at a youth camp from 2017! My friend spoke just before this from Ecclesiastes about how so many things in this world are temporary, questioning whether life is meaningless. I continue to say that because we are created, we have a purpose and that the way to discover it comes from God's word.
