Hey, I’m Rachel, work from home mom to 2 littles under 5, wife, and Jesus follower. For years, I tried to control my anxiety disorder through breathwork, therapy, and self-care. But no matter what I tried, it didn’t address the root of my problem – a taxed out nervous system that was running on empty.

I finally realized that to calm my nervous system I had to meet its basic needs – nutrient-dense food, movement that calmed instead of stressed, true rest, and a mindset focused on the healing power of Jesus.

I created a simple, strategic plan that fit me. Steps I could consistently stick to even amidst the chaos of motherhood. I learned how to eat nourishing food consistently even when my kiddos were constantly interrupting me. I discovered how to have deep, restful sleep – even with babies waking me up throughout the night. And I figured out how to ground myself in the TRUTH of God’s word instead of the LIES in my head.

I built a lifestyle that finally stopped the overwhelm and got back to the basics – even with the crazy schedule I have as a working mom. And I’m ready to share it with you!

    Sometimes the feeling of control gives us a false sense of peace. Or maybe the lack thereof is convincing you that if you could JUST get your kids to listen, your husband to help you more around the house, and your boss to stop demanding so much that things would be so much easier. 
    When the anxiety disorder is in full force, it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking controlling more equals less stress. But the truth is, you can't ACTUALLY control anything. And often that desire for control is what is leading to the emotional dysregulation, the outbursts, and the motherhood overwhelm.
    The good news is--you CAN'T control anything BUT you serve a really great God who is not only IN control but cares tremendously about you, your life, and how things are going. He is intimately involved and wants you to surrender those things to him, so you can finally take that true rest he offers.
