Overcoming Fear In Times of Uncertainty and Stress with Cyndi Dale

Overcoming Fear In Times of Uncertainty and Stress with Cyndi Dale

We have good reason to be scared during this time of a global pandemic and racial unrest. Fundamentally, we re struck with unprecedented death, unemployment, social unease, uncertainty, and now riots and anarchy as the result of police brutality. Whatever your stance, who doesn t feel a flood of fear, concern, and worry?
So today, I am very thrilled to invite Cyndi Dale onto the show, who is an internationally renowned author, speaker, healer, and the author of 27 books on energy medicine, intuition, and spirituality. Today she is going to share her insights on how can we free ourselves from our fears so that we can emerge from these dual crises stronger and more certain of our true selves, as might a butterfly emerging from its cocoon.

Don't miss this talk about techniques for harnessing healthy fear, avoiding becoming a "fear sponge," and energetic techniques to heal ancestral fear!

Cyndi has worked with over 70,000 clients and her books have been translated in 17 languages. Her current releaseEnergy Healing for Trauma, Stress Chronic Conditions (Llewellyn, July 2020), could not be more timely, and will be followed up by Advanced Chakra Healing, a reissue of a popular book first printed fifteen years ago (Llewellyn, August 2021.) Co-written with Dana Childs, she is also writing a book about making food and health choices through the chakras, to be published in 2022 by St. Martin s Press.

Encore: Hope and Synchronicities: What we can learn from the Celestine Prophecy in Today’s World w/ Bestselling Author James Redfield

Even with huge amounts of fear, uncertainty and conflict surrounding us during this challenging time of social isolation, we are still seeing glimmers of hope, small acts of kindness and reminders of our elevated human consciousness. So today, l have a little treat for us, something to uplift us in these trying times: Author James Redfield. I m sure many of you have read his bestselling book, The Celestine Prophecy, and for many of us, including myself, it kickstarted our spiritual awakenings and journeys. 25 years later it remains beloved, as do the other books in his Celestine series- and people are once again reading them and sharing them with each other to connect with their spiritual awareness during these troubled times.
Using an adventure parable approach that has been called part Indiana Jones, part Scott Peck, The Celestine Prophecy created a model for spiritual perception and actualization that resonated with millions of people and focused on the mysterious coincidences that occur in each of our lives. The book quickly climbed to the #1 position on the New York Times bestsellers list, remaining on the list for more than two years.

Tune in today to find out what James has been up to since he books, how we can learn from the 12 insights to find hope, peace and spiritual awareness, and what the future might hold for our human spiritual evolution.

Encore: Coping with Social Isolation: Staying Mentally Healthy with Julia King

Today s show is all about checking in with everyone and making sure we are taking good care of our mental and physical health during the COVID-19 outbreak and quarantine. What is happening right now in the world is something so unprecedented and unfathomable that it s leaving many of us in shock, not to mention the stress and worry over our finances, our health, and our loved ones I ve been quarantined for over 3 weeks now and while Tiger King memes and eating Nutella with a spoon have definitely been helping get me through this, it's not enough. There is a lot of fear and uncertainty in the world, and social isolation isdefinitely starting to take a toll on many of us, myself included. (Does anyone else just miss getting a HuG??!) We don t know how long this is going to last- Just remember, there is NO roadmap for dealing with this and you are doing your best and that is enough.

As a mental health professional we know that isolation is silent killer- it can lead to depression, and other negative health outcomes. During this time, we all have to be vigilant about taking care of ourselves and working with feelings of depression and anxiety, as well learning to manage our time in a way that it can still give us some semblance of reality. Julia King joins me from the UK today to talk about how to cope with our 'new normal.' Julia is a registered nurse and she has an extensive background in nursing, counselling and psychotherapy. Her specialist subjects are relationships, mental health issues and eating disorders. Julia was a school counsellor for five years, helping 11 to 18-year-old girls, many of which had problems related to their parent s relationship issues. Julia is skilled in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

Sex Positive: Redefining Our Attitudes to Love & Sex with Dr. Pat Baccili!

Sex Positive: Redefining Our Attitudes to Love & Sex with Dr. Pat Baccili!

The book addresses significant cultural trends such as rejecting traditional gender stereotypes in favor of gender fluidity, as well as the titillating technological advances that are poised to change everything about love and sex as we know it. Part two explores our changing identities, from reframing sex as a "spiritual" experience, to reclaiming and better understanding the female orgasm, as well as delving into the process of healing our sexual wounds through belief change, forgiveness and flow. The third and final part of the book offers thoughtful tools to help create and maintain Sex Positive relationships, including what it means to find a soulmate, experimenting with non-monogamous relationships and tips to survive the trials of modern online dating. Never before has there been a stronger cultural narrative about fiercely loving and accepting yourself without shame, guilt or judgement. Dr Kelly is here to unpack the big topics and create a dialogue about what really matters today when it comes to what we want out of love, sex and relationships.
