You Are Not Weak

You are not weak
The journey is just difficult
And someone, somewhere told you that it "should" be easy.
And when it wasn't you believed that the problem was you.
You said "why can't I do this?"
Or maybe even "what's wrong with me"
But the problem was never you
The journey is just difficult
When we ask "why can't" then we see only problems
But when we ask "how could" then the solutions emerge
Solutions that emerge from your mind
A mind that is strong, that is resourceful
You were never weak,
you were just tricked to think you were
You were asking the wrong questions
and as a result getting the wrong answers
The journey is difficult, yes it is true
But you are formidable
And there's nothing you can't do
