Episode 22 – The Outrageous, the Foolish, + the Divine with Janet Morgan Majestic Wisdom

In this episode of Majestic Wisdom Podcast Heather co-creates with visual artist, author, teacher, and all-round creative force, Janet Morgan. Janet shares brilliant insights about how some of her best work started out with a failure, rejection, and/or making a mess. For Janet, this connects to the creative process, problem-solving, and finding her way through something that may feel like it’s not working, so that she can do what it is she wants or needs to do (in art and in life).

By exploring the outrageous, the foolish, and the divine (including painting deities and landscapes), Janet shares deeply about what art is and what it can be, especially in relation to community and community building. We talk about her new book, Coney Island Awakes, and how many of these themes are present in this magical work and, mostly, we had a lot of fun creating together! We hope you have fun listening too!
