This year we will be doing School of the Bible 2024: Systematic Theology. We begin an exciting, mind stretching and hopefully soul growing journey through the theology of the Bible. We will begin with an introduction or, to use the technical term, Prolegomena of Theology.

The Doctrine of Scripture
This week we will begin the topic of Bibliology, the study of the Bible. We have established that the only way that we can know God is if He reveals Himself to us. We have seen that He has revealed Himself through General Revelation and Special Revelation. General Revelation leaves us without excuse but is insufficient to save us. God’s Special Revelation is what we need in order to be saved and sanctified. This is recorded for us in the Scriptures. We will look at the inspiration and attributes of the Scriptures.

Hermeneutics 101
God centred teaching, taught by men who follow the Lord Jesus Christ in both word and deed. Men who are trained and love God’s word and so seek to proclaim it as it was initially intended by the authors under God’s inspiration. Great teaching for lead speaker and company. Biblical, sound and to the point. SOTB also gives a great overview of scripture, and, brings to life lesser known passages including seemingly unimportant parts of the Bible.
