    Jonathan Norris of Kingdom Collapse

    Jonathan Norris of Kingdom Collapse

We had a really fun time talking to the vocalist Jonathan Norris of the Texas band Kingdom Collapse! We discussed their latest music video "Uprise" and how it represents thinking for yourself and how it resonates with the current situations ( this was recorded pre George Floyd). We also discussed how covid has screwed them over and playing with our friends in another texas based band, Blacktop Mojo! Plus him being a lefty and playing upside down, his moms influence on his musical choice, Elvis, Mark Tremonti, why they've stayed independent, him producing, becoming a singer and Jim straight up butchers the name of the San Antonio Fox sports reporter Chuck Miketinac who interviewed him, sorry again Chuck but the Chuck show kind of works! Thank you for listening and we hope everyone enjoys this episode with Jonathan!

Pete Krell of One Step From Falling

Pete Krell of One Step From Falling

We had a wonderful conversation with lead guitarist Peter of the band One Step From Falling! We talked about their music video for "Lung Butter" and a little about their new music video which should be availble very soon! We also mistook him for Steve which we felt horrible about but we had a good laugh and learned about his relationship with Steve and Steve's brother so it sort of worked out in a hilarious way! We also discussed covid, concerts, guitars, Tool and experience of opening for so many great bands! Thanks for listening and we hope everyone enjoys this interview with Pete!

What can i say about this interview besides AMAZING! We got to talk to singer/songwriter Zac Maloy of the band The Nixons! This is one of those bands that was apart of all our lives in someway or another and we learned so much about Zac, the The Nixons and the the most interesting part for us a little behind the scenes of being a songwriter for some of the biggest names in the music business! Zac has had the pleasure of working with so many amazing and talented artists like Carrie Underwood, Jonas Brothers, Uncle Kracker, Hoobastank, Skillet, Halestorm, 3 Doors Down and Shinedown and those are just the ones that we talked about! We also talked about the new album "Sonic Boom", the process of rerecording to take possesion of a song that a label owns, his guitar history, his blog, playing with Kiss and some touring stories. Norri Drescher of Corvus Corax

    Norri Drescher of Corvus Corax

This was a treat and so much fun to talk to Norri who is in the simplist terms the drummer for the german neo-medieval-meets-metal ensemble Corvus Corax!! Since 1989, Corvus Corax has contributed significantly to the development medieval music. With mystical and myth-enshrouded albums like Mille Anni Passi Sunt, Corvus Corax awakened old gods and legends, while records like Sverker and Gimlie invoke Celtic and Nordic traditions and present the Viking culture in modern times. We spoke to Norri about life during covid and learned that he has spent much of his time teaching his children since schools are closed. We spoke of commercial success and near success like being chosen for Game of Thrones theme song only for the the show to go with someone else but they found some success in video game market with games like Dragon Age. We also disscussed insperation, research, importance of staying authentic and their operatic performance of CARMINA BURANA. We also learned alot about Norri himself like when he started playin instruments, who got him into metal, growing up in Germany and how he knows Sami Yli Sirniö of the great German metal band Kreator! We really hope everyone enjoys this and thanks for listening!
