Ep.1 Andy Curran
HwyOne is a podcast dedicated to all of the musicians that have toured Canada, and the venues, past and present, along Canada's Trans-Can Highway. Ep. 1 is an interview with Andy Curran. Andy rose to prominence in Canada beginning in the early 80's charting songs like Monkey Bars with Coney Hatch. He would later go on to win a Juno in the early '90s with Andy Curran & Soho 69. In my chat with Andy, he offered some great tales of playing Toronto clubs in the early '80s and touring Canada with Coney Hatch opening for the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Ted Nugent, and Cheap Trick. What a great guy!
