Last week, we observed the extraordinary moment when Jesus unrolled the scroll in the synagogue in Nazareth, read a prophecy about the coming messiah written by Isaiah 700 years prior, and simply said, "Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing." Wow! Did you catch that? Jesus was leaving no room for speculation about who He was claiming to be.
