The Edmonton Oilers take game one in double overtime by a final score of 3-2 over the Dallas Stars. The Stars have now lost their 7th straight game one after Connor McDavid scores the overtime winner. The superstars for the Oilers had big nights, Zach Hymen with two points, Leon Draisaitl had two points along with Evan Bouchard. Joey gives his reaction and breakdown of game one on today's episode of Locked On Stars. This was a game of missed opportunities for the Stars who went 0-for-5 on the power play which included a four minute man advantage in overtimes. Tyler Seguin was the best player for Dallas and scored both goals including the equalizer late in the third. Joey dives into the Stars power play struggles and what they can do different moving forward in the series to be effective. In the final segment, we put a bowtie on game one and how Dallas can come back on Saturday in hopes of to even the series. Roope Hintz's return would be huge for the Stars who find themselves juggling lines to find offense.

On today's episode of Locked On Stars, we have Ryan Chambers from Starcastic Remarks to talk about the upcoming Western Conference Final between the Dallas Stars and Edmonton Oilers. Matt Duchene scores the series clinching overtime goal to send the Dallas Stars back to the Western Conference Final! The Dallas Stars look to clinch their spot in the Western Conference Final tonight with a win over the Colorado Avalanche. The Stars are 4-1 in the postseason on the road so far and look to take a 3rd straight game in Denver tonight.
