Premier League 2022/23 | Preview and Tips

Premier League 2022/23 | Preview and Tips

George Elek is joined by Mark O'Haire, Jack Wright and David Preece to preview the 2022/23 Premier League new season. Mark and Jack provide their betting insight to pick out some value in the outright markets, whilst David Preece gives his view on the various runners and riders and gives us a view from a player's and coaches point of view.
Champions Manchester City once again head the betting at a best price of 8/11 whilst Liverpool are hotly fancied to run them close once more with Jurgen Klopp's side at 11/4. The top two pulled miles clear of the rest last season and a rejuvenated Spurs look the most likely to follow with them at 14/1 third favourites, and odds on to finish inside the top four.
Manchester United enter a new era with Erik ten Hag in the dugout, they're at 15/8 just to finish in the top four, as big as they've been for a number of years. Arsenal meanwhile ended the season in disappointing fashion as they missed out on a top four spot but have freshened up their squad with several new arrivals. The headline signing looks like Gabriel Jesus, he's halved in price for the Golden Boot since joining the Gunners and that market is one the guys touch on.
As well as the race for the title, top four and Golden Boot, the panel look at the battle to stay in the Premier League. Newly promoted Bournemouth are odds on for a swift return to the Championship with Scott Park frustrated at the lack of singings, and it's a similar story at his former employers Fulham. The third club to join them have taken different approach. Nottingham Forest have brought in no less than 12 new signings including Jesse Lingard, they're out to 5/4 for the drop.
Frank Lampard will be hoping for a better season for Everton than the one they endured last year. They're 7/2 to be relegated whilst the former Chelsea boss is the 4/1 favourite to be the first manager to leave his role.

King George 2022 | Tips and Preview with Johnny Ward and Ed Quigley

Danny Archer is joined by Ed Quigley and Johnny Ward to look at this weekend's card from Ascot, previewing both Friday's and Saturday's action.
The guys start with a look at the John Guest Racing Brown Jack Handicap on Friday with both Johnny and Ed strong on Speedo Boy for Richard Kingscote here.
Ryan Moore is onboard The Whipmaster in the 3.40 which is sure to go off favourite, neither of our tipsters are too keen on him at the price but Johnny picks out a 14/1 selection.
Ed has another decent priced pick in the Slingsby Gin Handicap with Tom Marquand onboard his pick Tidal Storm, the Ryan Moore ridden Al Azhar the favourite once again in this one.
Saturday's action kick offs in the Princess Margaret. Lezoo is the 2/1 favourite, looking to bounce back from last time out, the panel have their reservations about her in what could be a trappy race.
Ed likes the look of Zanbaq in the Valiant Stakes next up. She's currently a best price of 2/1 as Ed breaks character and tips up a favourite whilst it's Thunder Beauty for Johnny.
It's a very competitive International Stakes next up ahead of the main event. Both Johnny and Ed are prepared to give Fresh another chance here after disappointment last time out.
The King George VI & Queen Elizabeth stakes is next with Irish Derby winner Westover the 11/8 favourite. Emily Upjohn looks to bounce back from her nightmare start in the Oaks whilst Mishriff is well fancied too. Head to 22:00 to listen to the preview of Saturday's showpiece event.

July Festival 2022 Day Three | Tips & Preview with Andy Holding

July Festival 2022 Day Three | Tips & Preview with Andy Holding

Ahead of the final day at the July Festival George Elek is once again joined by Andy Holding.
The guys start with the Fillies Handicap, second on the card. The unbeaten Kidwah is the 6/4 favourite for William Haggas, Andy is keen on Silken Petals however.
Next up it's the Bet 365 Mile Handicap and Andy's banker of the meeting. He likes the look of Jimi Hendrix at a best price of 4/1 at present. One bookmaker currently goes four places despite the race only having 8 runners.
Victory Dancy and Lion Of War head the betting for the Superlative Stakes with the former between 5/4 and 13/8 and the latter 2/1 Andy would side with Lion Of War.
The Bunbury Cup comes next with 20 declared at the time of writing. The value is with Ropey Guest who's between 14/1 and 20/1 in a race paying up to six places.
The big one comes next, the July Cup. Perfect Power, Artorius and Creative Force are the three at the top of the market with Perfect Power the 9/4 favourite. Naval Crown catches Andy's eye with him of the view the price is wrong after an eye-catching display at Royal Ascot.

July Festival 2022 Day Two | Tips & Preview with Andy Holding

July Festival 2022 Day Two | Tips & Preview with Andy Holding

George Elek is once again joined by Andy Holding to preview day two of the July Festival at Newmarket.
The guys jump straight into the second race on the card, the bet365 Heritage Handicap. 12 runners are lined up for this one as it stands with New London the 10/3 favourite. Andy gives us his tale of woe having backed New London last time out but thinks he could improve here especially with the draw.
Next up on the card is the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes. A trappy looking race Maylandsea and Mawj head the betting. Lezoo is just behind at 11/4 and Andy thinks he could produce another good performance after winning last time out under Frankie Dettori.
The Bet365 Trophy takes place at 3pm and it's a wide open looking content with 16 entered. Candleford is 7/2 best price at the time of writing and Andy is a 'massive fan' of him.
At 3.35 it's all about Inspiral. She's currently a 2/11 shot to make it five from five with Frankie Dettori on board in the Falmouth Stakes. A lap of honour? Andy thinks so.
For the last two races on the card Andy is keen on Nizaaka and Celsius at current prices of 11/4 and 9/1 respectively.

July Festival 2022 Day One| Tips & Preview with Andy Holding

July Festival 2022 Day One| Tips & Preview with Andy Holding

George Elek is joined by Andy Holding to look ahead to day one of the July Festival at Newmarket.
2.37: The opening race of the week is the Maiden Fillies' Stakes run over six furlongs. Ivory Madonna appears to set the standard here after her run in the Albany Stakes and she'll have Hollie Doyle on board. Andy thinks she looks a worthy favourite in a tricky to call contest with over half the field newcomers.
5.00: The Bahrain trophy comes next at 1.50. Deauville Legend runs here, tipped up by Andy at Royal Ascot where he came a notable second, he's 9/1 best price here and doesn't appear to be too fancied on this occasion. Masekela is the 7/4 favourite here following his Derby run, Walk of Stars follows next having disappointed there himself with Zechariah also around the 4/1 mark.
9.25: The July Stakes takes place at 2.25, eight are declared at the time of writing and Persian Force and Little Big Bear both head the betting at 7/4 with the latter as short as 6/4 in places. Andy isn't keen on Persian Force at the price whilst he thinks Mysterious Night could be value at an each way price.
12:55: 19 are entered for the Bet365 Heritage handicap. Bosh jumps of the page here for Andy with Richard Hannon's charge currently a best price of 11/1, several bookies are paying up to 6 places on this one at 3pm and Andy thinks at the prices it could be the best bet on the card.
16:30: Mostahdaf just edges Yibir for favouritism in the Princess Of Wales's Close Brothers Stakes and Andy thinks he's a fair favourite and can't see too much value elsewhere in the race.
18:30: Frankie Dettori rides favourite Mighty Ulysees in the listed Sir Henry Cecil Stakes. Alflaila is one that interests Andy here at 10/1 having previously tipped him up for the Jersey Stakes.
21:08: The final race on the card is the Weatherbys Hamilton Handicap over a mile. Enforced is the favourite here at 3/1. A trappy looking race and after some deliberation Andy landed on Charlie Appleby runners Echo Point and Noble Dynasty.
