Love the variety

Fairly new to Ologies, but I am thoroughly enjoying the journey so far. I appreciate the variety of topics the show covers, and I’m also learning a lot. I mentioned this podcast to my biology students the other day, and told them it’s never a bad idea to go learn something random! A few of them have already subscribed and told me they’re loving it. The conversations with the Ologists is always such a delight, and Alie is hilarious. Definitely recommend.

Best podcast ever

Hi Alie! I have been listening to Ologies for about a year now and I look forward to each episode. I just signed up for patreon, so I can finally submit questions!! I am studying Marine Biology and I am in my Honours year in South Africa! Besides becoming a professor and getting my PhD, a career goal is speaking about fisheries science with you. Thank you for being the coolest internet dad ever! Also the podcasts have gotten me through many piles of laundry folding so thanks.

Your friend studying Soil Science

Dear Alie,
I’m currently in my 3rd year of University studying Soil Science. If I had a dollar for every time someone has asked me what i’m studying and are immediately confused because they didn’t even know what Soil Science was. When I saw your Soil Science episode I can’t tell you how excited I was!
This show is my absolute favorite, keep doing what you’re doing because it is amazing.
