    VISION 2020: Don't Look Back - Audio

Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, seeks to be a church that's becoming community in Christ. In this fourth and final sermon of Pastor Craig's response to our VISION 2020 sermon series, he returned to Hebrews 11:8-16 again. In the previous three sermons, we see several truths:
    1. We must admit that we're strangers in this world.
    2. We are temporary here.
    3. We must focus on the future.
    4. We must not look back; we must fix our eyes on Christ.
Everyone is susceptible to the backward pull. Jesus himself was tempted in the desert to "look back." But he did NOT look back. He set his face like flint toward Jerusalem and the cross.

VISION 2020: Something Better Is Coming - Audio

At Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, our senior pastor returned again to Hebrews 11:8-16. We're called to reject the "marshmallows" of this world for the promises of God because something better is coming. As believers in Christ, there's a right way to live. We must be reaching and yearning for the better thing.

VISION 2020: Cultural Impact, Part 2 - Audio

Our senior pastor preached again from Hebrews 11:8-16 on Sunday, February 23 focusing on our impact on our culture. We must remember that we are temporary, and this world is not our home. We must live as strangers and aliens, living lives of obedience to Christ to impact our culture for Christ.

VISION 2020: Cultural Impact - Audio

Our senior pastor preached again on Sunday, February 16 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC. He followed up his VISION 2020 sermon series started in January with this sermon from Hebrews 11:8-16. Now that we've heard the vision preached, we must implement this vision in a culture that's constantly changing. And big cultural changes come quickly! We're to be like Abraham, living as a foreigner, exile, and stranger. In obeying God, Abraham traveled through different cultures, languages, and customs. Not just Abraham, but all people of faith must live as strangers in this world. Do we live like a native in a culture in which we should live like a stranger?

At Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, we welcomed Rev. John Song, an assistant pastor candidate, on Sunday, February 9. He preached from Luke 23:32-43 highlighting the differences in perceptions and reality. He challenged us with two questions: What is your perception of Jesus? and How does that shape the reality of the life you live?

    VISION 2020: Prayer - Audio

    VISION 2020: Prayer - Audio

At Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Charleston, SC, we envision being people who pray alone, in small groups, and corporately. Our senior pastor preached four weeks on the vision of Redeemer in January. If we do not pray, we will not achieve our vision no matter how good the vision statement sounds or looks on paper. He encouraged us from John 16:33-17:5 as we looked at Jesus' prayer for himself and his disciples.
