This weekend the gospel offers us two parables of what the Kingdom of God is like.  It may surprise us to realize that it is not what we would expect----and that is a good thing!!  Listen for more insights on how we can build God's kingdom and not our own.

As we celebrate Corpus Christ, we seek to be filled with Christ to then feed others with Christ.  To receive the Eucharist, we become Jesus who then is shared with those in need.  Jesus is always with us to inspire, ignite and empower us to bring gospel joy to the world.

This weekend we celebrate the Ascension of the Lord and receive the great commission of proclaiming the Good News everywhere.  We do this in our own personal lives but also in our parish communities.  Jesus is the vine and we are the branches---and we are called to bear much fruit.  Do we have the courage and trust in the Lord to share His love with the world?  He is always with us and helps us do what seems impossible.
