S5 Ep2: Wendy Chamberlain MP - Life as a Woman in Westminster

HER ambition

I am very excited to welcome Wendy Chamberlain, our first MP on HER Ambition!

Wendy Chamberlain is the MP for North East Fife. Following her degree in English from Edinburgh University, Wendy joined Lothian and Borders Police in 1999, serving for 12 years as a Police officer. She joined the Scottish Liberal Democrats in May 2015. Having stood as both a Council and General Election candidate in 2017, she was selected as the Westminster Prospective Parliamentary candidate for the constituency of North East Fife in June 2018. She was elected to Parliament in the 2019 General Election.

Join us as we discuss Wendy's non-typical route into being an MP and the importance of bringing women into politics.
