The topic of justice is very popular and influential both inside and outside of it. With the advent of the rise in social justice movements all around the world, we as Christians have an urgent need to go back to the Scriptures and get God’s perspective on what true justice looks like. In this session we tackle the question of how we can apply biblical notions of justice in the modern world.

During this second session we examine a few of the strong influences of the social justice movement on the Church. We also evaluate what the true mission of the church is, how justice fits into this mission, as well as unpack some of the unbiblical notions of justice that have crept into the Church.

Much of the modern ‘Progressive Christianity’ movement is founded upon Liberal Theology. In this session we look at what Liberal Theology is and where it came from. We also look at how this stubborn false teaching still continues to lead Christians astray.

Liberal Theology has been rebranded and given a post-modern twist! In this session, we look at how Liberal Theology has influenced the Evangelical Church and how it can often be identified. What are the key Evangelical doctrines that are under attack in our generation and how can we root ourselves in the truth on these issues?

Grace is such an amazingly beautiful thing. Unfortunately, there has been teaching sweeping through the church in recent years that has distorted the wonderful truth of grace. Called by many ‘hyper grace’, this message actually preaches a deficient grace that robs us of much of the power and beauty of the truth. This thinking is not new but has its roots in ancient heresies. This session of Savvy Sheep highlights these roots, the fallacies of its teaching and the weakness and dangers of this heresy.
