A little something before we come back with our Season 11 premier next week...

    Hello!
We will be back with our Season 11 Premier on Wednesday 13 March, but in the meantime, here is a recording of the recent Podcaster's Roundtable that Bethan attended.
She is joined by Adam from the UK True Crime podcast, Paul from the True Crime Enthusiast podcast, and Mike from the Murder Mile podcast. It's an interesting and lively discussion that covers so much in relation to true crime podcasting.
    Enjoy!

    The Dyatlov Pass Incident

    The Dyatlov Pass Incident

In the middle of an exceptionally harsh winter back in 1959, a group of experienced Russian hikers embarked on a daring expedition into the expansive snow-covered wastelands of the Ural Mountains. The young adventurers set out hoping to explore unknown territory, summit unconquered mountains, and bring pride to the USSR.
However, what was intended to be an exciting and daring foray into the great unknown soon turned into a harrowing nightmare. The violent fate that met the group of hikers out there in the unforgiving wilderness created a darkly popular enigma that continues to baffle investigators, conspiracy theorists, and true crime enthusiasts to this very day.
Join us, in what is our season 10 finale, as we attempt to unpick this mind-bending mystery.

The Callous Killing of Sylvia Fleming

The Callous Killing of Sylvia Fleming

This week, in a listener-researched and written episode, we head to Omagh in Northern Ireland, as we take a look at the brutal 1998 murder of 17-year-old Sylvia Fleming.
On the cusp of adulthood, and with a difficult childhood now behind her, Sylvia thought she had struck gold when she met 26-year-old Stephen Scott. He was charming, handsome and popular. But he had a wicked side and enjoyed putting Sylvia down in front of her friends and family. And behind closed doors, things were much, much worse. He carried out his sadistic sexual fantasies on Sylvia and on the night of 3 April 1998, armed with a syringe full of insulin, he went too far and Sylvia paid with her life. A truly harrowing case...
Our thanks to Rhiannon Smith for researching and writing this episode and our thoughts remain with the loved one of Sylvia Fleming.
