We tackled a tricky subject during this episode: idols. We discussed how idols can be obvious, subtle, or unknown. A lot of the time the idols present in our lives are intertwined with our daily activity. Whether it be school, work, or even our down time, if we are not careful things can penetrate our hearts and take the place of God. We invite you guys to listen and reflect as we go through different idols we’ve experienced in our own lives, and discuss how to practically deal with idols in a healthy, God honoring way.

In this episode we decided to put one of us in the hot seat and interview Lily. God has done some amazing things in her life recently. She touched on things like being an immigrant, moving, prayer, picking a career, and now graduate school. We wanted to let you guys in on a personal level and share her journey and how God brought her to where she is. Lily told some stories, we had some good laughs, and overall just wanted to Glorify God for the blessings and hardships in our lives.

In this episode we took time to speak on something uncomfortable but necessary. This topic was suggested to us by a listener, but went beyond a suggestion and really dug roots in our hearts. We are talking about temptation. Not only common temptations in the church, but our personal temptation and the temptation of Jesus. We seek to understand why we get tempted and how to approach temptation in a way we can be victorious. Join us in this conversation because where we are weak, God is made strong!

In this episode, we sat down with each other to talk about some vulnerabilities we have been experiencing in the past four months. More importantly, we share how God has met us in the middle of those circumstances, and really, through it all. We discuss how imperative it is that we fix our eyes on Jesus in the middle of our hardships, whether it be the unknown or anxieties we may have. We also discuss what having love, joy, and peace really means, and how rest plays a big part in cultivating a relationship with the Lord.
