The financial modelling podcast is great - I've listened to every episode! Some really great insights and fantastic guests - well done Matthew.
As a full-time financial modeller and self-diagnosed Excel model fanatic, I was very excited to come across the financial modelling podcast. Even though I’d call myself “quite experienced”, the podcast has in its first 10 episodes already provided me with useful information that I was not aware of. I was very happy to learn of formal meetups scheduled in our area for like-minded individuals and have now registered to attend the next one. I was excited to hear the views of industry giants like Rickard Warnelid and Colin Human – both experts I’ve been following for a while. I will continue listening to the podcast every week, hoping to improve not only my modelling skills, but also my understanding of the markets we are modelling and the other tools available (like the ECA).
The modelling team in my firm has recently started a discussion on adopting a set of global standards firm-wide and I immediately thought that I would like to hear Matt and his guest’s views on the differences and pros and cons of the various available standards (FAST, SMART, SSRB) – Perhaps we can have an episode on that soon?..
Mat is great. With enjoyable and easy to listen to content. Keep it up
