Theology with an English Accent David Bates

I went back to St. Ignatius in LA this past week to give them a Lenten talk about temptation and C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters.

This past weekend, I drove out to Imperial Valley, a couple of hours east of San Diego, to give a talk at "Java & Jesus". The event was rather similar to a traditional "Theology On Tap", except that it was held at a coffee shop.

Last night I gave a talk in Charlotte, North Carolina, on C.S. Lewis, telling the story of how he came to faith in Christ and how this journey influenced his own subsequent evangelistic efforts.

Last night I gave a talk at St. Patrick's to the Goretti Group on the subject of love, drawing heavily from C.S. Lewis' book, The Four Loves.

Last week I gave a talk on apologetics at a bonfire in El Cajon on the subject of apologetics, the follow-on talk from “Evangelization for the terrified”.
