The Broad Street Breakdown is a podcast out of South Philadelphia starring Jedi Mind Tricks’ front man Vinnie Paz with The OG Gavin and Professor Pablo. It is a weekly broadcast that features a unique and knowledgeable cast of longtime friends that stop in from time to time.

Originating in October of 2015, The BSB focuses on all things counterculture: Music, film, literature, wrestling, street culture, conspiracy theories, and a whole lot of arguing and ball-breaking. It’s the culmination of thirty years of tattoo shop conversations and “who’s-the-best-ever” disputes. It’s the Broad Street Breakdown: all Philly, all day.

    Ep. 130 – “I’m where I should be.”

Getting back to the basics, we list our Top 5 favorite Album Covers. We run down Cody’s Hot Takes and The OG asks the eternal question, "Pablo, Why are you the way you are?”

Ep. 129 – “How many words is there?”

The OG is hungry and eating his dinner "weather" you like it or not.  The boys discuss the similarities between the public’s response to the pandemic, Nine-Eleven, and Aids.  Pablo takes them into a dark and defrosted Pablo Cheapo tip.  Some GG questions get read. "Singin in the rain"

    Ep. 128 – “Poppy Tart!”

    Ep. 128 – “Poppy Tart!”

BIG News and BIG changes for the podcast.  Xavier is now in a chopper and Mr. D is out, being replaced by a band of racoons.  Does any of this make sense?  NO.  Neither does this podcast.  Just listen.

    Ep. 127 – “Menace Mouth!”

    Ep. 127 – “Menace Mouth!”

Sitting on a park bench!  The OG is not working in Florida, smoking weed, dining out, dealing with Mr.D, or playing the parent game at his kids school.  Vin’s tour manager may have been killed and replaced by the raccoons he’s befriended. Pablo Cheapo goes to AC to not spend money and have a good time.  Xavier delivers the weather & Cameo No.  Correct comes wit a Pablo Pronounces (last minute) and the GG gives us the goods with a Who’s/What’s Better. You poor old sod, you see, it's only BSB.

Ep. 126 – “Expect more nonsense”

Ep. 126 – “Expect more nonsense”

Who’s GOD?  The boys add a final thought to last week’s ep where male/female role models were discussed.  This rolls into a discussion on who does and doesn’t GET the show.  They talk about if a band  is allowed to come out of retirement and at what capacity.  Xavier delivers the news and a CAMEO NO.  Correct provides a “Pablo Pronounces" and the GG provides a nice “Who’s/What’s Better”.  Who’s DOG?

Ep. 125 – “Zod is Hard!”

Ep. 125 – “Zod is Hard!”

Just one more NIGHT!  A breakdown of Motley Crue (for some reason) was had then the boys attempted to delve into gender with regards to parenting.  That went yard so there was a nice & short GG Question Session and a Pablo Cheapo’s Tip of the Week. I'm on my way hay hay, set me free he he, Home sweet home.

Possibly, best show in history... coo' be.

Long time fan, first time reviewer.

I feel as if I'm sitting in a living room and listening in on lifetime friends riff on things and stuffs. Shoutout to the O.G. Geoff, The Sicko, The Professor, Scott Stalone and original member, the Cousin Friz. Through this podcast, I'm learning to appreciate 'the Biz' more than anything else. Love from ZAR, Cape Town, #GimmickGang.
