This short excerpt provides more phrases commonly used in the cyclic behaviors of Narcissistic Abuse in family, romantic, and associative (friendships) relationships.

PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)

Is classified as an emotional & physical reaction to occurrences/situations that are similar to past traumatic experiences.

PTSD is a triggered reminder of a past traumatic experience that has not been healed or handled with the care of professional/emotional help. If left unattended, it can create self destructive behaviors, trigger depression, and even influence suicide.

Often people “numb” by creating illusionary environments that distract them from the reality of the traumatic experience, which suppresses the emotional attachment to such experience, but does not relieve or “cure” the issues.

Although it’s believed Narcissism is found more in men, opposed to women, Female Narcissists are undetectable due to their extremely covert tactics. Which leads me to believe, how can one generalize a gender, when covert behaviors are utilized?
