Hi, my name is Barbara and I I am doing a podcast about our pets.
I am a pet mum who has had animals as pets for over 40 years, but my love and interest in animals goes as far back as I can remember.
I have a Facebook page called Mewsings From A Pet Mum as well.
I do and have done volunteer work far many places involving animal, from getting laws past , to wildcat rescues, wildlife rehab, volunteering at our local cat shelter and answering the phone for a low cost spay Nueter group.
I hope to have people on to talk about their pets and also professionals to talk about what’s going on

Is keeping our pets in the house keeping them in prison or do they have a better life outside?
Some people feel that you should let your cats run outside and go where they want to, some people feel that’s a bad idea. I remember when dogs could run free in the city. Now they are mostly on leashes. But cats are still allowed to run free, are they living their best life is letting your cat run around the neighborhood him living his best life or there a lot of dangers out there That make it a little more scary.

Sometimes things we think are funny can ruin the trust that our pets have in us
I see on the Internet people putting the cucumbers by the cat dishes and the cat eating, and they jump, and tossing your dog, a slice of lemon to see his reaction when he catches it, things like that that seems small and funny at the time, but if you keep doing things like that, you will lose their trust And it may be hard to get back.

My cat Kricket fell between the walls in my basement.
Little cricket found out that curiosity can get a cat into a little trouble. Good thing she didn’t panic and neither did I and getting her out of the bathroom wall was a lot easier than I had expected it to be, and I did not have to destroy anything.

It’s been two years, and yes, I still have my cats
