On this podcast, we welcome Rabbi Chanan Chernitsky - the only Rabbi in Newfoundland and Labrador and the Director of Chabad of Newfoundland. He shares with us his life story - growing up in a secular Jewish family in Argentina, migrating to Canada, and connecting more deeply to the Jewish faith. We learn about the history of Hanukkah, Jewish communities in NL, and significant traditions. This year - we are invited to join the public Hanukkah celebration for people of any faith on Sunday, December 18, at 136 Crosby Road (parking lot), St. John’s, from 4 PM - 5:30 PM.
