We open the show this week with a new University President at Miami, as Julio Frenk moves on to UCLA and Joe Echevarria stepping in as interim President, which is a great thing for the football program! But of course it's Toast that plays devil's advocate, as he's afraid a change in leadership could force the athletic program to take a step back. 

We also address the unnamed ACC coach that said the questions at Miami surround the coaching staff far more than the stacked roster, and Scoop goes in on Lindy Sports for leavine Rueben Bain off the All-ACC predictions. 

Plus a wide open wheel of topics takes us to Danny Hurley rejecting the LA Lakers (UConn fan Toast weighs in), we call for Major League Eating to free Joey Chestnut, and everyone is completely astounded by the rodeo bull that got loose in Oregon.

Roman's having back problems, Toast is working a lot, and Scoop is all over the place as we get things rolling this week. And the most important question of the night kicks off with the question about whether we're buying the preseason rankings... and sure enough everyone continues to fall in on different sides of the narrative.

Somehow we get into a full-on discussion about the Cola wars, now that Dr. Pepper has surpassed Pepsi as #2 on the best selling soda list. And as we pull the car back onto the road we take a good look at the ACC power rankings and get worried that Miami might be coming in with too much hype.

Plus some absolutely amazing audio of the week from Houston activist Quanell X, and everyone gets their licks in on the media frenzy around Caitlin Clark, largely in agreement that the girls in the league need to get on board with what she's done for the sport and just play her tough and stop with the sensitivity.

Facial hair and Brazilian waxes open up this week's show for some reason, but we quickly transition to the "all in" proposition for the Canes as we get into Summer. Everyone has strong feelings about the defensive line, pointing out that seasons we felt confident were years when the defense was relentless. Toast hopes this "all in" mentality translates to the first year of a decade-long run, and Scoop feels like if this first effort is successful that this could become a perennial trend.

Roman also gives a quick wrap on the UM baseball season before we launch into this week's 
Wheel of... Audio! We got from the hilariously viral Wheel of Fortune contest, the Oklahoma high school soccer announcer that trashed the players on a hot mic, the man who Zoomed into his court appearance for driving on a expired license while driving, a fan pigging out at the White Sox vs Blue Jays game, and Jaelen Phillips finding an Iguana in his toilet.

Plus we also touch on the passing of Bill Walton, the Home Alone house being for sale, and the pilot jumping the gun on a Ft Lauderdale flight and telling the passengers to prepare for a water landing. And Scoop has a serious moment as we reflect on the tragic passing of Grayson Murray.
