Today on the podcast I have Dr. Shawn Baker, M.D. Shawn is a doctor and an accomplished athlete. Author of the2019 book The Carnivore Diet. He is also a Co-Founder & CMO of Revero.
He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech Health Science University in 2001, completed his orthopedic surgical residency at the University of Texas in 2006, and served as chief of orthopedics at various bases during his stint in the U.S. Air Force.
Athletically, he’s played professional rugby, won strongman competitions, set records as a Highland Games participant, and most recently, he became an indoor rowing world champion.
His focus in recent years has been on using nutrition as a tool for health, performance, and overall well-being. Through his Carnivore Training System and private consulting work, he has inspired countless thousands of others to challenge a highly flawed nutritional paradigm and to opt for a carnivorous lifestyle instead.
