AL-TARIQ ROBERSON is a credentialed writing instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and East Carolina University. His teach career spans eleven years and collectively includes teaching composition and literary studies courses at three additional universities and institutes of higher learning over the last eleven years. Roberson is a research writer as well as a creative writer, currently compiling a book of poetry entitled Outside of Honor and a research publication focusing on fictional representations of black queer men in Twentieth Century African American literature.
