Peel That Onion Andrew Morris

- Society & Culture

#14 - Go and take your jacket off!
What does it mean to be fully focused and engaged?
Deep diving and continuing in with the previous episode we further explore taking medication, why and what the effect of it may be, and the journey that Andrew is embarking on. A couple of curveballs in there where we go on an emotional rollercoaster and in real-time see a human malfunction.
Then we round things up by comparing exercising muscle > cooking meat > habit we have and how it all comes back and reflected on our work life.
And today we'll finish it all up nicely with stretching our safety zones and the importance of flexing that muscle. -
#13 - Putting a plaster on your neurotransmitters
Today is the big day that Andrew starts his ADHD medication.
Thoughts that become discussed today are:
Do anxiety and depression have a bad rep?
How can sticky notes give you a minimalistic lifestyle?
Taking drugs just isn't enough...you need to do more! -
#12 - Putting the 'bitch' in habitually
Do you love your friends enough to call them out for being a a bit of a dick?
Inner head radios? Do you hear sound in your head at night while you’re trying to fall asleep?
Tune in while we go on a adventure about distractions, how to punish ourselves positively when we’re depressed and the bigger issues we have in life....like running out of cheese! -
#11 - The awkward houdini!
Awkward marshmellows for kids, discussing the thing we shouldn't discuss.
Turning the chapter on how we deal with drugs, moving away from boozie friends and how hard it is to say no when you're easily influenced. Plus making friends as adults... does it get anymore awkward! -
#10 - Schrödinger's lie on drugs
Remember that awkward thing your parents told you that if you did drugs once you'd be addicted for life and die, madness right?
Anyway, meet the carrot that sits on my shoulder who I've trained to be in control of what energy it should choose to allow into my life! -
#9 - Frantic Steve's approach to achievement!
Achieving goals that are aligned with us. Why do we try our best and when we look back we always question if we actually did do our best?
Why are we critical to our past selves, does being kind and nurturing to ourselves mean putting on slippers and having a hot chocolate, and if not then why not?
Would you rather be a Frantic Steve or Gladiator…. What does that even mean?!?!?
