Dr. Sathish from SAATHI explains about the protocol set by the government regarding vaccination for those who have been already affected by COVID 19. It is safe for those affected to get vaccinated after three months after they are recovered.

Jaya akka, General Manager of Sahodaran talks about her experience in working with the community during the pandemic and also about how she was able to mobilise 28+ transgender people to get vaccinated.  

She mentions that with proper education based on science and facts, we could reach the goal of 100% vaccination amongst the transgender community.

Harthika Thendral, Program Manager at PHARM Foundation talks about her vaccination experience. Harthika, got her first dose on february 27th, followed up with the second dose on march 27th.

With the second wave ravaging the country much more than the first, the transgender community is one of the most affected. She has encouraged many transgender folks to get vaccinated, addressing the rumours and educating the community.
