Ba Adab Huda Nama

A heart wrenching poem written on a famous folk-lore of this region; "Sassi-Punnu". Sassi married the love of her life, defying all the odds & hardships. But Punnu, the noble from Kaech, was abducted in the darkness of night by his brothers, who took him back to their lands. Sassi, on not finding Punnu, went looking for him in deserts & abandoned lands, like crazy. She lost her life! This poem depicts the time when Punnu finally returns, only to find Sassi gone to land, from where no one returns... the land of Death. It is said tha Punnu died on the grave of Sassi... This Dastaan is used as simile & metaphors in many Urdu poems & prose, but this poem surely stands out!
