Today's episode will be dedicated to recent Apple event. Famous brand presented new version of its phone as well as new seventh generation of the Apple Watch and completely new iPad Mini. Let's discuss what is special here.

Hi, everyone!

Today's episode will be dedicated to quite important Apple event which happened yesterday. Well, it wasn't surprising to see new iPhone models there, but still there are some things to discuss. Let's start with the smallest device though.

Apple Watch received its seventh version. It was funny to see how all those "previews" got mocked when presentation video showed classic round-cornered case. Display now take almost whole front panel and that's really good. There are some bike functions, but I am not that big biking fun to care. Nevertheless, it is interesting to find new green case color which might look cool with dark bands.

I would like to skip "simple" iPad because it still stays in the same styling and still features lightning port. iPad Mini in contrary got rid of the old port and now comes with USB-C. Moreover, it received new design and smaller screen frames. All this creates quite nice device, but price tag is somewhat confusing because you can get iPad Air for less money. I know, Mini offers smaller sized case, but still it is somewhat difficult choice in my opinion.

Now we move on to iPhone. Yes, there is no "S"-version, new model is called as 13. We still get Mini version and basic 128gb option looks quite attractive now. Note that prices stayed the same, so it is quite attractive offer now. As for the Pro version, I am still not clear if there are some differences between Pro and Pro Max. Official website doesn't mention such thing, but who knows... Otherwise it will be just screen size and battery, what is a bit awkward in my opinion. I would rather wait for the first reviews in order to understand what is the actual state of this release.

All in all we get another great update from Apple. Frankly speaking I am a bit confused on whether I should change my 12 Pro Max, but we will see... New camera looks good, but there are different lenses and no more 50mm inside.

This time we are going to talk about new models in Defender line from Land-Rover. It looks like we will see several more cars in the next year.

Hi, everyone!

This episode will be dedicated to rumors about upcoming Defender models from Land-Rover. Yes, the "basic" model was presented relatively recently, but it looks like British carmaker would like to leverage well-known name. We might see several more versions which will include pickup and even more luxury model.

So the main idea is to have three lineups - Discovery with two models, Range-Rover with at least four different cars and Defender with at least three cars. Please note that all this info is not announced officially and it might turn out that we would see only Defender pickup. Nevertheless, it looks like cheap version got axed as not suitable for the new brand.

In my opinion, luxury Defender will be posed in a quite difficult position. First of all it will have to offer some luxury inside, but that's not difficult because original new Defender is kind of simple inside. Nevertheless, the second problem might be a bit more serious because such version can rival Range-Rover. British carmaker will have to do a lot of work in order to differentiate them. Well, we can bet that Range-Rover will become even more luxurious in the new generation what would make the whole differentiation task a bit easier. Third problem is Discovery models range, because even now Defender takes away customers from its "brother", and there is no use in denying it.

While Pickup is quite simple thing to imagine, I wonder how top-tier version will be styled. Who knows, maybe such type will get its own platform in order to give drivers better experience behind steering wheel. Some people are talking about possible SVR version, but in my opinion it would look strange on this car. Moreover, it would be wise to limit SVR badge to Range-Rover cars only.

Oh, by the way, don't forget about 130 version of the Defender - even longer and more spacious offroader. This might be a good choice for upcoming V8 engine. Long vehicle will be mainly targeted at USA and China markets which have high demand for big vehicles. As for the Discovery...well, Land-Rover designers will have a hard time designing the next generation of this car...

In this episode we are going to talk about experience of getting the used BMW in Germany.

Hello everyone!

Today's episode will be dedicated to something what happened to me this week, and I think it is worth telling you about that.

So I am searching for used BMW 540 in E39 generation at the moment. This is a great-looking car and values are climbing up. I am more than sure that in few years such car would be a valuable thing to own, plus it is more or less reliable and features all necessary comfort options. I guess we will talk more about it in the separate episode.

I managed to found one on German Ebay for quite a cheap price - not the cheapest on the market, but still very attractive. Owner claimed that car is on German plates and it is in very good condition. Well, photos also showed nice car with few rust spots, nothing serious.

It was decided to ride there and take a look. Well, city is not far a way from me, just 3 hours drive, so it is ok in my opinion. Weather turned out to be very nice, so whole ride was enjoyable.
What was not enjoyable is the actual experience of checking the car.
First of all appointed address turned out to be just a TUV point somewhere, not even an owner's home. That's the first warning sign. Frankly speaking I checked the location on Google maps and thought that guy lives in nearby house.
Second thing was the Latvian plate on the car. Yep, as you remember, owner claimed that car has German papers, but it turned out he lied. When I noted this, he just said he never mentioned German plates.
Well, third and final thing was the moment when I opened the bonnet and saw the engine in horrible state. I mean I could literally smell the burn oil what could only mean that it was leaking somewhere. Radiator was broken, and owner again claimed that he didn't know why. Well, I know why - engine was overheated and radiator plastic and hoses just said good bye.

I am not that sad about the fact of lying, it is more of the thing itself that is still happening - somebody tries to sell really bad cars, doesn't even try to keep such good cars in a nice shape and acts like it is okay. Well, small lesson learned, and I continue my search for a nice car to buy.

By the way, German McDonalds is still great and I honestly recommend to try it. Big Tasty is actually big unlike the one we have in Prague. heh
