The Game of Thrones
It was about time we got to return to the deepest middle ages with a good series good enough to long for next week again!
In this case it came out really well - sometimes with the first viewing we miss out on the fun as we are so busy comparing original books to script - well, I confess it's been quite some years since I read the book, so the only thing confusing is, that I haven't really worked out the characters and story lines, but hooked on the shots instead. It's dark, it's explicit, it moves slow enough to follow what is happening right now without putting you to sleep - and it generally is over way to early! I assume that similar to the books it will take a while until I get "into" it (unfortunately here you can't always turn to the end to find out who is who and where we are) and start related to the people on the screen. Well done - looking foward to... series eight?! :o)
